CARACAS, April 16 (Itar-Tass) - Nicolas Maduro, the candidate of Venezuela’s ruling Unitred Socialist Party, has been officially declared the country’s President Elect.
He will hold the presidential office for the next six years.
The National Electoral Council on Tuesday confirmed the results of Sunday’s presidential election, in which Maduro contested the candidate of the right-off-center opposition, Henrique Capriles.
