MOSCOW, April 9 (Itar-Tass) – Federal Customs Service officials are suspected of involvement in a 26-million-rouble /825,000 US dollars/ theft. The funds were allocated from the budget for purchasing special equipment, the Interior Ministry's press service told Itar-Tass on Tuesday.

"According to police information, the criminal group included officials of the Central Customs Department of the Federal Customs Service, as well as directors and personnel of a number of commercial organizations," the press service said.
