Moscow, Tbilisi agree on resumption of Georgian products supplies to Russia

MOSCOW, April 2 (Itar-Tass) – Russia’s Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance and the Georgian Agriculture Ministry’s National Agency for Foodstuffs /Rosselkhoznadzor/ have reached agreement on a resumption of supplies of Georgian agricultural produce to Russia, Alexei Alexeyenko, the press secretary of Rosselkhoznadzor told Itar-Tass.

“We agreed to resume the relations that were interrupted in 2006, to formalize them and to sign the necessary documents that will regulate the supplies of separate commodities,” he said.
