About 37,000 people left without electricity in Kuban, Rostov region

ROSTOV-ON-DON, March 24 (Itar-Tass) – About 37,000 people are left without power supplies in Kuban and the Rostov Region over the power outages on the electric power lines.

Two districts Timashevsk and Temryuk in the Krasnodar Territory were left without power supplies, the Southern regional emergency situation centre reported. “The power supplies were cut over the overlapped wire on the high voltage line. About 25,000 people are left without electricity, 22 socially important facilities are situated in the emergency area,” the emergency situation centre told Itar-Tass.

The Zernograd and Neklinovka districts were left without power supplies in the Rostov Region.

“The power supplies were disrupted over the overlapped wire on the high voltage line. About 12,000 people remain without power supplies, three socially important facilities are situated in the emergency area, as well as 4,283 private houses,” the Emergencies Ministry said.

The restoration works continue.
