MOSCOW, March 11 (Itar-Tass) - The Muscovites must calmly choose members of the Moscow City Duma legislature and then elect a new mayor, Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin said in an interview published in the newspaper Vedomosti (gazette) on Monday.
Sobyanin pointed out that to save fundd by combining the two election campaigns "will be hardly advisable". "If we combine all that, the outcome would be such a hodge-podge that it would be hard to understand who one must vote for and why," Sobyanin explained. "The two election campaigns must be held separately to avoid problems and obviate rushing through them".
