All 3 detainees suspected of attack on Bolshoi Theatre artistic director confess

MOSCOW, March 6 (Itar-Tass) – All three detainees on suspicions of a criminal attack on Ballet Artistic Director of the Bolshoi Theatre Sergei Filin confessed in the crime.

During the search operation in the investigation of the criminal case over the attack on Artistic Director of the Bolshoi Theatre Sergei Filin suspected criminal contractor and leading solo singer of the Bolshoi Theatre Pavel Dmitrichenko, direct perpetrator of the crime Yuri Zarutsky and the driver, who brought Zarutsky to the crime scene were exposed and detained.

“All the trio confessed in the crime and were detained as the suspects,” the press service of the Moscow main police department reported.

Meanwhile, a source in the law enforcement agencies noted that the detectives intend to ask the court to arrest suspected mastermind of the criminal attack Dmitrichenko and perpetrator Zarutsky already on Wednesday.

“According to preliminary reports, personal tense relations between Filin and Dmitrichenko were behind the crime,” the source said.
