RF Supreme Court commutes sentence to convicts in Nevsky Express train blast case

Under the court verdict the sentence was commuted for six convicts, who were sentenced from seven to eight years in prison

MOSCOW, February 25 (Itar-Tass) – The Russian Supreme Court commuted a sentence to the convicts in the criminal case over the explosion of the high speed train Nevsky Express in 2009. Thus, the court satisfied partially the appeals from the lawyers of the convicts.

Under the court verdict the sentence was commuted for six convicts, who were sentenced from seven to eight years in prison. The Russian Supreme Court changed the imprisonment regime for them from tough to general security.
