Moderate quake rocks Russia’s Yakutia

YAKUTSK, February 22 (Itar-Tass) – An earthquake of 5.0 magnitude rocked on Friday Russian Yakutia’s Abyi district. The epicenter was 43 kilometers southwest of the settlement of Syagannakh, at the depth of 15 kilometers, the press service of the regional department of the Russian Ministry for Emergency Situations reports.

A group of regional specialists examined buildings of the settlement. They said no tremors were sensed in the village, nobody was injured and the quake has caused no destruction.
