MOSCOW, February 19 (Itar-Tass) - The Investigative Committee said serious crimes committed by police are not infrequent and that in Moscow alone, a considerable number of such cases are under investigation.

"An analysis of criminal cases against law-enforcement personnel shows that the cases where police commit not only crimes in office but also serious and very serious crimes against citizens are far from being scarce," an The Investigative Committee official told Itar-Tass.
