Car rams monument railing, runs down 2 persons in downtown Moscow

Both workers, a man and a woman, were hospitalised

MOSCOW, February 16 (Itar-Tass) – A Nissan sport car drove into the sidewalk, rammed the railing around a monument and ran down two persons in central Moscow on Saturday, February 16.

“The incident occurred at 13:15 local time. A foreign-made sport car was moving along Tverskaya Street, drove over the decorative railing around the monument to Yuri Dolgoruky and then ran down two road workers who were cleaning the sidewalk,” the traffic police press service told Itar-Tass.

Both workers, a man and a woman, were hospitalised.
