Russia did not supply Iskander systems to Syria - Isaikin

He confirmed that Russia had supplied to Syria air defence systems under earlier concluded contracts, but did not specify which ones

MOSCOW, February 13 (Itar-Tass) – Russia did not to supply the Iskander tactical missile systems to Syria, there are no contracts on their supply, Director General of Russia’s Rosoboronexport arms exporting company Anatoly Isaikin said at a press conference at the RF Foreign Ministry’s press centre on Wednesday.

“In the total volume of Russia’s military equipment exports Syria is on the 13th – 14th place,” the Rosoboronexport director general said. He called “complete nonsense” the information that Russia has allegedly supplied to Syria the Iskander tactical missile systems. “We have not supplied any Iskander systems to Syria, we have no contracts on their supply,” Isaikin stated.
