KOROLYOV (Moscow region), February 12 (Itar-Tass) – The Russian cargo spacecraft Progress docked with the International Space Station early on Tuesday, according to a short scheme of rapprochement with the ISS, which will now be used at manned Soyuz spaceships.
“Progress M-18M docked with the Zvezda docking module in an automatic mode at 00:40 Moscow time,” a source at the Mission Control Center located near Moscow told Itar-Tass. Progress M-18M delivered more than 2.5 tons of various cargoes to the ISS, including food, water, air and oxygen cylinders, sanitary-hygienic means, fuel and equipment as well as parcels for the ISS crew sent by families and psychologists.
