Norwegian military delegation arrives in Moscow

MOSCOW, February 12 (Itar-Tass) – A Norwegian military delegation, led by Defense Minister Anne-Grete Strom-Erichsen, will arrive for an official visit in Moscow on Tuesday, the press service of the Russian Defense Ministry told Itar-Tass.

During her visit to Russia, the Norwegian defense minister will meet her Russian counterpart General Sergei Shoigu.

“During the talks the defense ministers will discuss the state and prospects of military cooperation and consider several urgent issues of mutual interest that are linked regional and global security,” the Russian Defense Ministry explained.

Besides, the Norwegian military delegation will visit the 138th separate motor-rifled brigade in the Kamenka village of the Leningrad region.

“The guests will have a chance to tour the training facilities, get acquainted with the conditions of life and service of the servicemen and see how the training process is organized,” the Russian Defense Ministry clarified.

The visit will end on February 15.
