Police searching Rospil foundation director's office within SPS money theft case

MOSCOW, February 7 (Itar-Tass) - Police are searching the office of Vladimir Ashurkov /director of the Rospil foundation set up by Opposition activist Alexei Navalny/, within the criminal case over theft of money belonging to the Union of Right Wing Forces /SPS/, the press service of the Investigative Committee told Itar-Tass on Thursday.

"The search is underway with the view of retrieving the documents that have significance for the probe," the SK said.

Ashurkov, who is a member of the Opposition's Coordination Council and director of the anti-corruption foundation Rospil, earlier wrote in his microblog that police had come to search his office.
