The company Avant, with which the contract was concluded for the designing and construction of a football stadium on the Krestovsky Island “concluded with the Main Directorate of Special Construction in the North-Western Federal District under the Federal Agency of Special Construction a subcontract and five additional agreements to it in 2007-2008 in order to fulfil the construction and mounting works.”

“In turn, the subcontractor concluded the subcontracts for the fulfilment of the works to install auger piles with three commercial organizations, meanwhile, the price of the running metre under the contract with one of foresaid organizations more than doubled the price of the running metre of the auger piles under two other contracts that resulted in the costs of the works overstated by more than 500 million roubles,” Markin underlined.
