MOSCOW, February 6 (Itar-Tass) - Agents of the Federal Security Service in Dagestan destroyed the last of the masterminds behind the act of terror in the Moscow subway in 2010, where 39 people were killed in two explosions at the Lubyanka and Park Kultury stations.
"Gusen Magomedov, 36, was killed in Dagestan when offering armed resistance during the attempt to detain him. He was wanted by federal police and Interpol and is one of the organizers directly involved in the double terrorist attack in the Moscow subway's Lubyanka and Park Kultury stations in March 2010," the National Antiterrorist Committee said.
"Magomedov personally accompanied the suicide bomber into the subway, who later blew up a home-made bomb on her at the Park Kultury station. Gusen Magomedov has been the last accomplice directly involved in preparing and carrying out the acts of terror in the Moscow subway in March 2010. The FSB, jointly with law-enforcemtn bodies and the Investigative Committee found and arraigned all the perpetrators and organizers of the above act of terror. Today, the just retribution has found the last of them," the NAK said.
