MOSCOW, February 3 (Itar-Tass) – Ballet Artistic Director of the Bolshoi Theatre Sergei Filin will be discharged from the hospital number 36 on Monday morning, the Moscow health department told Itar-Tass on Sunday. He was taken to the hospital in the middle of January after the attack of an unidentified criminal.

“The ambulance will arrive at 08:00 Moscow time on Monday to bring him home,” a source in the Moscow health department said. The department pledged that the chief doctor of the hospital will provide the more detailed information about Filin’s health, when he will be checked out from the hospital.

The health department reported earlier that Sergei Filin will take a rehabilitation course at a clinic in Germany.

People’s Artist of Russia Sergei Filin, 42, was attacked late in the evening on January 17 at his apartment house in the Troitskaya Street in Moscow. The unidentified offender splashed the acid in his face and escaped. The injured artistic director was hospitalized with the burns of face, head and eyes.
