MOSCOW, January 31 (Itar-Tass) – Russian President Vladimir Putin has warned that the pre-crisis economy growth model no longer works.
“The return to the pre-crisis growth model of the economy is impossible,” the president said at an expanded government meeting in the Kremlin.
According to him, this is true not only for Russian, but also the world economy. “We need to be proactive and look for new approaches. If we want to be competitive, Russia’s economy should grow more quickly than the world economy,” said Putin.
He admitted that the pace of the economy growth in the country in recent years has slowed down.
