ZAGREB, January 27 (Itar-Tass) - Russian figure-skating coach Alexei Mishin told Itar-Tass that Yevgeny Plushenko would miss the World Figure Skating Championships in Canadian London in March.

Plushenko withdrew from the European Championships in Zagreb two days ago because of back injury. He fell in men’s short program and came only sixth on the short program results. Plushenko announced his withdrawal the same day.

"I am not hanging my head. I am going to treat my back now. I will start training on ice early in March,” Plushenko wrote in Twitter on Sunday.
