MOSCOW, January 24 (Itar-Tass) — The Moscow City Court on Wednesday overturned a district court's resolution not to consider Opposition activist Sergei Udaltsov's complaint about the opening of the criminal case against him over planning riots.

Criminal proceedings over planning riots was opened against Left Front coordinator Sergei Udaltsov, his aide Konstantin Lebedev and lawmaker Ponomaryov's aide Leonid Razvozzhayev after the film showed a discussion of the possibility to stage riots in Moscow in a number of Russian provinces.

The meeting, captured by a spycam, took place in Minsk, and involved chairman of the Georgian parliament's committee for defense and security Givi Targamadze, Georgia's consul in Moldova Mikhail Iashvili, their three aides, as well as Udaltsov, Lebedev and Razvozzhayev.

The investigators are also looking into the alleged preparation of acts of terror in Russia.

"If the information is found to be authentic, a legal assessment of actions by Udaltsov and his associates, including Georgian citizens, will follow," the Investigative Committee said earlier.

Udaltsov is on recognizance, and Konstantin Lebedev and Leonid Razvozzhayev are under arrest. Razvozzhayev, wanted by police, informed the Investigative Committee on October 21 about his decision to turn himself in, according to SK spokesman Vladimir Markin.

Markin said Razvozzhayev had given details of the plans to stage riots that had been considered by Udaltsov and Lebedev and other persons, and reported their involvement in the Bolotnaya Square riots in Moscow on May 6.

The Left Front coordinator repeatedly denied riots plans and insisted on his innocence.
