MOSCOW, January 20 (Itar-Tass) - Twelve Russians hurt in an accident in southeastern France have returned home. Flight Zu 8482 of Air Bashkortostan Company landed at Moscow’s Domodedovo airport at 02:43 Moscow time.

Irina Shchegolkova, the press service chief of the Russian Agency for Tourism, said that 23 Russian tourists hurt in the accident were to have left France yesterday evening. However, investigators delayed their departure. They will return home by flight SU 5451 Chambery-Domodedovo on January 20,” Shchegolkova said.

According to the Russian embassy in France, seven Russians who were injured in the accident near the town of Chambery (Savoie prefecture) remain in French hospitals. "Four are in Chambery and the other three are in Grenoble,” the embassy source said.

A bus belonging to a French logistics company got into an accident in bad weather conditions near Chambery. It was carrying Russian tourists from the Chambery Alpine skiing resort to Grenoble airport.

"The driver lost control of the bus. As a result, the bus side slipped and fell on its side on the roadside,” a source at the Savoie prefecture said. There were no fatalities.
