KRASNODAR, January 9 (Itar-Tass) — Experts of the presidential administration have been studying a program titled "Russia without orphans" which was suggested by Russian Children's Ombudsman Pavel Astakhov, and other similar programs, Presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov told journalists on Wednesday.

Media reports alleging that President Putin "has blocked the program" are incorrect and do not conform to the reality, Peskov said.

There is a multitude of programs devoted to the position of children, including orphans, Peskov said. The program proposed by Pavel Astakhov cannot be "blocked" by the presidential administration from the inside because Astakhov himself works in the presidential administration, and therefore, his program like the other programs are being studied by corresponding expert departments of the presidential administration, Peskov told journalists.
