MOSCOW, January 4 (Itar-Tass) — The persons injured during a crash landing at the Vnukovo airport are in stably serious condition, but they are showing positive dynamics, a Public Health Ministry official told Itar-Tass on Friday.
"Two patients, a 26-year-old woman and a 32-year-old man are at the Pirogov hospital. The woman who is in satisfactory condition, has been transferred from an IT ward to a general ward," the official said, "the man remains in an IT ward; his condition is stably serious, but there are positive dynamics.
He added that the third patient who is at an IT ward at the Sklifasovsky emergency medicine hospital is also in stably serious condition, but he, too, is "showing positive dynamics."
On December 29, a Tu-204 of the Red Wings airline which arrived from the Czech Republic, rolled outside the runway after landing in Vnukovo, broke into three pieces and caught fire. The fire was extinguished in less than half an hour. The plane only carried a crew of eight. Five of them died.
Criminal proceedings were opened over violation of the rules of traffic safety and aircraft operation /Article 263, Part 3 of Russia's penal code/.
