Fire at dormitory in Far Eastern Khabarovsk localized

MOSCOW, December 30 (Itar-Tass) — The fire at a dormitory in Russia’s Far Eastern city of Khabarovsk has been localized. Nobody was injured, sources from the regional department of the Russian Ministry for Emergency Situations say.

According to updated reports, the fire began on the roof of the five-storey building spreading out quickly. About 100 tenants were evacuated. The fire engulfed an area of 510 square meters. It was localized at 20:10 Moscow time, the sources specified.

Fire brigades and rescuers continue working at the site.
