MOSCOW, December 25 (Itar-Tass) —— Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev sent a letter on the creation of a mega regulator in Russia to President Vladimir Putin on Tuesday, December 25.
“As far as a mega regulator is concerned, I have signed a paper and sent it to the president,” Medvedev told journalists.
“That’s it. It’s over and done with,” he said.
“Now our colleagues in the [presidential] administration should consider it and then we will talk about it,” the prime minister added.
Speaking about a possible creation of a mega regulator in Russia, Medvedev said this could be done within two years. He noted that no candidate to head the new organisation has been approved so far.
