MOSCOW, December 19 (Itar-Tass) —— Russia’s State Duma has outlawed the activity of non-governmental organizations whose political activities are financed with US grants.
The legislators voted for a corresponding amendment to a bill conceived as a response to the Magnitsky Act. The bill was discussed in the second reading.
However, the amendment says that if the NGO stops using US money, its registration may be restored.
