RF govt takes measures to ensure stable heat supply

Cases of violations of the legislation and measures that are taken must be reported monthly to the government

MOSCOW, December 16 (Itar-Tass) —— The Russian government has taken a number of decisions to ensure stable heat supply during the cold season.

The government press service reported on Saturday that the government meeting on December 13 instructed the Federal Antimonopoly Service to ensure control over the prices for oil products, coal and gas during the 2012-13 heat-supply season.

Cases of violations of the legislation and measures that are taken must be reported monthly to the government.

Executive authorities in regions are recommended to take measures to reduce debts of consumers to supply organizations for fuel and energy resources and prevent the debts from increasing.

The Defence Ministry together with the Energy Ministry and the Ministry for Development of Regions must report monthly to the government about the Defence Ministry repayment of the debt for fuel and energy resources and utilities.
