MOSCOW, December 7 (Itar-Tass) — The budget funds are sufficient for the planned social programmes, Russia’s Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev said in a television interview on Friday.

“Everything is fine with the budget money,” he told reporters. “We have introduced intently the tax rule, so that not to worry every time where to take money for this or that social programme,” he said stressing that the tax rule allows not to depend on energy resources’ prises.

“Thus, the rule is in place, and the budget is strict,” the prime minister said.

Medvedev mentioned that the government plans to allocate 50 billion roubles for healthcare, and 40 billion roubles for the education.

“We shall be able not only to have modern equipment at hospitals, but also to raise wages for doctors and teachers,” he said. “The objective is here, and the task would be implemented not within one year, but up to 2018 for different categories, according to the schedule agreed.”
