VORONEZH, December 3 (Itar-Tass) — Regional branches of Russia’s Emergency Situations Ministry warmed about bad weather conditions expected in the afternoon on Monday in the Voronezh and Lipetsk regions.
During the coming night, a southern cyclone will bring to the Voronezh region heavy precipitation of rain and wet snow and ice loading. The wind may be as strong as 22 metres per second. Similar weather will come to neighbouring Lipetsk region.
The bad weather may destroy electricity and communication lines. Rescuers ask drivers, especially those driving trucks, to be very attentive as the rain and snow may block the traffic.
