VORONEZH, December 2 (Itar-Tass) — The airport in Voronezh, which had been paralyzed by a heavy fog, has resumed its work, the dispatch service told Itar-Tass on Sunday.
As yet, the airport will only serve departures, and the visibility is expected to improve in the afternoon, where the airport would be able to serve arriving planes, the source said. The fog had delayed five flights.
At the same time, in the neighbouring Lipetsk Region the airport is closed for dead calm, which would not ease the fog. “The visibility is 350 metres, and the lower line is at 50 metres,” the source said.
