Ten children hospitalized after bus accident in Amur Reg

KHABAROVSK, December 1 (Itar-Tass) —— Ten schoolchildren were taken to hospitals in the Amur Region after a bus collision with a Toyota car.

A 23-year-old passenger in the Toyota died. The car driver is in an intensive care unit in the regional clinic, the Emergencies Ministry's regional department told Itar-Tass.

The accident occurred on the road between Blagoveshchensk and the settlement of Aeroport. The bus, which was carrying 22 schoolchildren and two adults, was severely wrecked. Three children were immediately rushed to Blagoveshchensk's children's clinic. Then, other seven children were taken to hospital.

Rescuers, ambulance teams and police worked at the site.

The injured children and their parents are under the care of psychologists of the regional department for emergencies.
