TOKYO, November 30 (Itar-Tass) — Japanese Prime Minister Yoshihiko Noda indefinitely delayed his official visit to Moscow that was scheduled for December 2012.

“The health problems of Russian President Vladimir Putin” caused the delay of the visit, the Japanese premier said.

“Over health problems of Vladimir Putin I had to postpone my visit in Moscow,” he told a press conference in the city Nemuro, the Japanese prefecture Hokkaido.

The bilateral dialogue between Moscow and Tokyo has recently intensified considerably that was caused by a meeting between Putin and Noda at a summit of the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) in Vladivostok last September. The countries reached an agreement on consultations between the deputy foreign ministers of the countries that already took place last October, and Vladimir Putin invited the Japanese premier to visit Russia this year.
