Fire put out at Tambov powder plant

One man was injured in the fire and was given the medical aid at the spot

MOSCOW, November 28 (Itar-Tass) — The fire was put out at the Tambov powder plant, the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations told Itar-Tass on Wednesday.

The fire broke out at about 13:00 Moscow time on Wednesday in a shop of the powder plant in the town Kotovsk near Tambov. The fire has spread on a total of 200 square metres.

“One man was injured in the fire and was given the medical aid at the spot,” the ministry reported.

There is no threat to the population. The investigation into the fire case continues.
