Russia, France sign package of documents to boost cooperation

PARIS, November 27 (Itar-Tass) — The Russian Railways Company and the French auto maker PSA Peugeot Citroen have signed a shareholder agreement to manage Gefco logistics.

The agreement was signed after the 17th meeting of the Russian-French commission on bilateral cooperation and the meeting between Russian and French prime ministers Dmitry Medvedev and Jean-Marc Ayrault.

Moreover, in the presence of the two countries’ prime ministers a package of seven documents, including a final document of the 17th meeting of the Russian-French commission on bilateral cooperation and a statement of intention in relation to cultural cooperation, was signed.

The two countries’ governments concluded a memorandum on the training of managerial staff for Russian and French economic enterprises.

The Russian Venture Capital Association and the French Association of Capital Investors signed a memorandum of understanding. Moreover, a cooperation deal was sealed by Teplocom Holding and Itron France.

The Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs and the Movement of the French Enterprises signed a protocol on the creation of Russia-France business cooperation council.
