KRASNOYARSK, November 27 (Itar-Tass) — The personnel of police department # 5, Krasnoyarsk Territory, began to take psychological tests, following the incident in which police officer Vladimir Ten, stabbed his colleague on November 20 and then confessed to a doubled murder.
The next day, ten police officials of various levels were disciplined, and another three were fired.
"Taking part in the tests are psychiatrists, and each police officer from the department will take a polygraph test," the press service of regional police told Itar-Tass on Tuesday.
"Also, additional tests will be taken by personnel of remand wards and road police units who often encounter the negative aspects of human relations in their daily routine and are subject to frequent stresses," the press service said.
"If the personnel check which is underway at police department # 5 exposes "the signs of formal approach to performance review, senior police officials will be severely disciplined," the regional police department said.
