GORKI, November 26 (Itar-Tass) — The working group for reorganisation of the space industry called for restoring independent examination of space projects, Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Rogozin said on Monday, November 26.
“It is necessary to restore independent examination of space projects provided for in the key decisions on the organisation of space activities in our countries,” Rogozin said at a meeting on the development of the space industry.
He called for restoring the work of the expert commission on space and including representatives of the Russian Academy of Sciences, government and Skolkovo space cluster experts in it.
Rogozin also believes it necessary to create a council of general designers of the space industry within the Military-Industrial Commission.
In addition, he called for finalizing the state programme of space activities as soon as possible.
