NOVO-OGAREVO, November 26 (Itar-Tass) — Head of Russia’s Olympic Committee Alexander Zhukov reported to President Vladimir Putin that practically all infrastructures are ready for the Sochi Winter Games and invited him to visit test competitions.
During the meeting with the president, Zhukov said many test competitions are organised in Sochi during the current year, for example a Final Gran-Prix in figure skating is due in December.
“Infrastructures are practically ready,” Zhukov said. “The railway should be ready shortly, like the highways.”
Zhukov invited the president to visit test competitions.
