St PETERSBURG, November 25 (Itar-Tass) — Milos Riha of the Czech Republic has been dismissed from the position of head coach of the SKA ice hockey club in St Petersburg, the press service of the team said Sunday night.
“Proceeding from the objectives set forth for the team, the Board of Directors has taken a decision to relieve Milos Riha of the duties of head coach,” an official statement published at the website of the club said. “Mikhail Kravets will act as the head coach provisionally.”
Riha took up the job in 2011 but he failed to bring the team to medals in the championship of the Kontinental Hockey League.
