Russian government approves state program for development of aviation industry

“Adoption of new state program should not be taken just as we give the green light to additional funding, which will not be controlled at all,” Dmitry Medvedev stated

MOSCOW, November 23 (Itar-Tass) — The Russian government has approved the state program for the development of the aviation industry. “The adoption of the new state program should not be taken just as we give the green light to additional funding, which will not be controlled at all,” Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev stated on Friday.

The aviation industry is one of the most vital industries in Russia, “moreover, we should supervise what is happening there (in the aviation industry – Itar-Tass),” Medvedev noted. He noted that the consumers of the produce of the aviation industry have fair claims, and the Defence Ministry is the largest consumer in the aviation industry.
