MOSCOW, November 23 (Itar-Tass) — State Duma Speaker Sergei Naryshkin became a member of the United Russia Party, Secretary of the United Russia General Council Sergei Neverov told Itar-Tass on Friday.
“I was informed that the decision was taken, and he is a party partisan now,” a representative of the United Russia federal leadership said.
Neverov noted that Naryshkin received a party membership certificate in the Kingisep district of the Leningrad Region, where he applied for membership in the party.
