KHABAROVSK, November 23 (Itar-Tass) —— The pilots of an An-24 airplane with 27 people onboard that was landing at the Yakutsk airport were nearly dazzled by a laser beam, a spokesman for the local transport police department told Itar-Tass on Friday.
According to the spokesman, the incident took place at 18:45 local time (12:45 Moscow time) on Thursday. “The plane of the ALROSA air carriers was en route from Lenks. It made a safe landing,” the spokesman added.
An investigation is underway.
