Russia to give financial, humanitarian aid to Kyrgyzstan

The step aims to stabilize the social and economic situation in the friendly country, Russian Foreign Ministry said

MOSCOW, November 22 (Itar-Tass) — Russia will render financial and humanitarian aid to Kyrgyzstan, Russian Foreign Ministry said Thursday.

“The government of the Russian Federation has taken a decision to render assistance to the Kyrgyzstani Republic in the amount of $ 25 million and by supplying 20,000 tons of food-grade wheat,” the ministry said in a report.

“The government signed resolution to this effect,” it said. “The step aims to stabilize the social and economic situation in the friendly Kyrgyzstan and it shows once again that Russia is prepared to give diversified assistance to a country, which we have the relationship of alliance and strategic partnership with.”
