Foreigners, stateless persons to get residence permits to stay in RF

Document signed by the government determines and distributes residence permits in Russian regions

MOSCOW, November 21 (Itar-Tass) — Foreigners and stateless persons will be given 105,000 residence permits by 2013, according to a resolution signed by the government.

The resolution was placed on the Russian government’s website on Wednesday.

The document determines and distributes residence permits in Russian regions. Regions of the Central Federal District will give 30,100 residence permits. Regions of the North-western Federal District will give 9,550 residence permits. Regions of the Southern Federal District will give 6,470 residence permits. Regions of the Volga Federal District will give 17,000 residence permits. Regions of the Ural Federal District will give 6,850 residence permits. Regions of the Siberian Federal District will give 21,800 residence permits. Regions of the Far East Federal District will give 6,880 residence permits.
