MOSCOW, November 21 (Itar-Tass) — Chairman of the Itar-Tass Board Vitaly Ignatenko has begun the work in the Federation Council, upper house of Russia’s parliament, as senator from the Krasnodar Territory.
Federation Council chairperson Valentina Matviyenko presented the new senator to his colleagues and gave him a certificate and a parliamentarian badge.
“Your arrival will step up the work of the Federation Council,” Matviyenko said opening Wednesday’s plenary session.
