7 people, including 5 children, injured in road accident in Leningrad region

The children and a driver were hospitalized with moderately severe wounds, the second driver was given the medical aid at the road accident site

ST. PETERSBURG, November 18 (Itar-Tass) —— Seven people, including five children, were wounded in a road accident in the Leningrad Region on Sunday.

An Audi A6 car and a minivan, which was trafficking children, collided at about 10:30 Moscow time on Sunday at the 23rd kilometre of the Vyborg Highway in the Vsevolozhsk district, the North-Western regional centre of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations told Itar-Tass on Sunday. The bus, which was carrying ten children and three adults, belongs to the children’s and youth sport school.

Seven people, including five children, were injured in the road accident. The children and a driver were hospitalized with moderately severe wounds, the second driver was given the medical aid at the road accident site. The specialists from the Federal Fire-fighting Service and the regional EMERCOM search-and-rescue team were working at the road accident site.
