NALCHIK, November 18 (Itar-Tass) — Two militants were destroyed in the north-eastern outskirt of the Baksanyonok village in the Baksan district of Kabardino-Balkaria, a republic in Russia’s Northern Caucasus, this night, the press service of the republic’s Interior Ministry told Itar-Tass.
“Two members of illegal armed groups were killed by return fire opened by the law enforcers. Their identities are being established,” the press service went on to say.
No casualties have been reported among civilians or law enforcers.
Investigators, bomb-disposal experts and dog specialists are working at the scene.
