Charges with embezzling issued for former Russian deputy minister

The charges were issued in the framework of a criminal case related to the investigation of financial abuses during preparations for the summit

MOSCOW, November 15 (Itar-Tass) – Charges with embezzlement have been issued to the former Russian Deputy Minister of Regional Development, Roman Panov, who supervised the finances allocated for construction of the facilities for the summit conference of the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation forum /APEC/ in Vladivostok.

A source at the Russian Interior Ministry said the charges were issued in the framework of a criminal case related to the investigation of financial abuses during preparations for the summit.
