CAIRO, November 14 (Itar-Tass) —— Egypt has recalled its ambassador from Israel, following the latter’s aggression in the Gaza Strip, presidential spokesperson Yasser Ali said on Wednesday, November 12.
President Mohamed Morsi of Egypt also instructed Egypt’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations to call an emergency meeting of the Security Council to discuss the situation in the Palestinian enclave.
The Israeli ambassador was summoned to the Egyptian Foreign Minister to get a note of protest.
