MOSCOW, November 13 (Itar-Tass) — The Russian State Duma lower parliament house on Tuesday passed government amendments increasing state financing of political parties by 2.5 times.
Under the law, state financing of political parties will be increased from 20 to 50 roubles per each vote cast for a party’s federal list of candidates. This provision will be applicable to parties which score at least three percent of the vote in the federal election constituency at elections to the State Duma.
Budgetary allocations for these purposes are fixed in the 2013-2015 budget.
