MOSCOW, November 12 (Itar-Tass) — The main anti-extremism department of the Russian Interior Ministry and the Federal Security Service busted the international religious organization Party of Islamic Revival, which the Supreme Court found terrorist and banned in Russia, the Interior Ministry reported on Monday.

The detectives found that “the leaders and active participants in the organization were recruiting actively people at the mosques, distributing the extremist literature and involved other people in illegal activities.”

Six active members of the terrorist organization were detained in Moscow. “The searches were made at the places of their stay. Nine combat grenades, weapons, cartridges, the extremist literature and the guides for the recruitment and propaganda of the radical ideas of Islam were found and confiscated,” the Interior Ministry reported.
